Exlibris

Ex-libris: Sello de goma para marcar libros. Un regalo. Noté que una amiga solía escribir su nombre el la primera página del libro que estaba leyendo, así que naturalmente pensé que necesitaba un ex-libris personalizado. La ilustración es un perrito, probablemente su spirit animal, con un sombrero de copa, como el que usa en una de sus fotos de perfil. Me gusta mucho el concepto de los ex-libris, es una manera de marcar un libro que te marca. Me doy cuenta que varios de mis proyectos tienen que ver con libros, como los posters que hice la para la FILIJ u otros cuentos que he ilustrado.

I noticed that a friend used to write her name on the first page of the book she was reading, so I naturally thought that she needed a customized ex-libris. The illustration pictures a dog, which probably is her spirit animal, with a hat, like the one she uses in one of her profile photos. I love the concept of an ex-libris, is a good way to mark the books that have marked you. I realize now that several of my projects have to do with books, like the posters promoting reading among youngsters, as well as my story booklets.
